Technology in education

I am also very interested in how technology can be used to enhance education and the practice of nurses. I am immersing myself in as many learning opportunities as possible to gain more expertise in this area. I believe that gaming in particular has great utility for health care education and am starting to explore how it can be used. I audited a master’s level course offered by the Univeristy of Ontario Institute of Technology last year. I am also enrolled in a MOOC course on gamification.  As well, I am working with the Innnovation Cluster at Trent to find some funding opportunities to support my creating a number of nursing related courses.
